NEW SECRETARY APPOINTED
The elected Secretary of The Lepidopterists' Society, Dr. John G. Franclemont, of Cornell University, has resigned his office, due to the pressure of his other scientific activities. In December 1957 President Klots appointed Dr. Paul R. Ehrlich, of the Chicago Academy of Sciences, as Secretary Pro Tern, to fill out the remainder of Dr. Franclemont's term.
